      Executive Media Coaching:
      Communicate with Authority & Authenticity

      Presented by:
      Jason Roop, Springstory

It’s never wise to wing it.

This private, limited-attendance workshop is designed for leaders who represent their organizations publicly — or prepare others who do.

Springstory founder, talent manager, and former journalist Jason Roop has been on both sides of the reporter’s notebook. In this practical, high-impact session, he’ll share the approach he uses to prepare executives and spokespeople to communicate clearly, confidently and effectively.

      Expect to discover:

      - How to prepare for print, broadcast and podcast interviews.
      - How to frame messages in ways that make reporters perk up.
      - The three non-question questions that determine interview success.
      - What to do before and after the interview to maximize impact.

Earned media is one of the most valuable marketing tools at your disposal. This one-hour AMA Richmond workshop will sharpen your ability to communicate what matters — and make every interview count.

      About our presenter:

Jason Roop is the founder of Springstory, which helps brands make news, build trust and connect with their audiences through public relations, content marketing and talent management.

A native of Luray, he started Springstory in 2017 after a 20-year career in journalism where he worked in a variety of media, including as editor in chief of Style Weekly for 12 years.

Jason is a graduate of the University of Richmond, where he taught as adjunct faculty in the journalism department, and Leadership Metro Richmond. He’s worked with startups, nonprofits, government and established clients in the energy, medical, tech, entertainment, and food and beverage industries.

Springstory recently launched a talent management agency that helps brands connect with voices their audiences trust and navigate influencer marketing. For creators, Jason provides representation, advocacy and brand deals.
For brands: he helps deliver campaigns with results.
